Hampton, Va., October 1, 2021 – Megan Smith has been appointed Senior Vice President and Loan Operations Manager with Old Point National Bank. Smith is an experienced business leader with nearly 20 years of banking and loan operations experience. She holds her bachelor’s degree from Elizabeth City State University, is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management, and is pursuing her Masters of Business Administration from East Carolina University.

Smith most recently held the position of Portfolio Manager Team Leader at Atlantic Union Bank and prior to that role, she was the Director of Commercial Loan Processing, Operations and Servicing for Xenith Bank.
